Broth Gravy

Ingredients List

  • 2 Tbls Butter or some other type of fat.
  • 2 Tbls All purpose flour
  • 2 C broth (either chicken or beef)

    1. Melt butter in a small sauce pan.
    2. Add flour and whisk together thoroughly. (make a rue)
    3. Add broth slowly whisking to thoroughly combine each time.
    4. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down and allow to simmer until desired thickness is achived. You may add flour or broth to thicken or thin as you desire. You may add gravy browning if you like. It is not very popular any more but some still like the darker color it provides.
