3 cups strawberries, diced
1 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbls lemon juice
1/4 tsp vanila extract

- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Lower head and simmer until strawberries
are soft and syrup is thickened to desired levels. (about 15 minutes)
- If sauce thickens as it cools, just stir in a little water to thin.
